OGSPI. This Ontario Genealogical Society Provincial Index - abreviated OGSPI - is a hypertext library established in 1997 as a volunteer project to index an unlimited range of genealogical information on Ontario families. There are currently over 3 million names in more than 78,000 files.

Ontario Birth Registrations. The site has been created to house transcriptions of Ontario birth registrations covering the period 1869 to 1908, and has a good representation of most Ontario counties and districts.

Miscellaneous Ontario Birth Registrations. These 900 entries roughly cover the period 1866 to 1905 and encompass a number of counties and cities in Ontario.

Ontario Death Registrations

Ontario Cemetery Finding Aid. The Ontario Cemetery Finding Aid is a pointer database consisting of the surnames, cemetery name and location of over 2 million interments from several thousand cemeteries, cairns, memorials, and cenotaphs in Ontario Canada.

Federal Census of 1871 : Ontario, Canada Index. This database contains the names of the heads of households in the Province of Ontario as they were recorded in April 1871 in the official enumeration of the population of Canada.

Upper Canada Land Book C. Lists the Land Petitions of hundreds of people who requested government land in 1796 and 1797.

Name Index to the Second Report of the Bureau of Archives for the Province of Ontario (Canada). A 2 volume set of books which contain the record of claims for losses for more than 1,200 persons who fled to Canada during and immediately after the American Revolutionary War. Images of the Index for these books are online.

A list of those who left on the ship King William for Quebec : Downton, Wiltshire Emigrants April 7, 1836. On April 7, 1836, the parish of Downton saw almost 10% of it's population leave in a parish sponsored emigration to the wilds of Upper Canada. 220 souls from the parish of Downton, along with 59 others from Standlynch and Whiteparish left on the 380 ton King William.

Upper Canada and Canada West Naturalization Records (1828-1850). Before 1947, foreigners could petition for naturalization. Library and Archives Canada holds several naturalization registers for Upper Canada/Canada West (now Ontario), for the years 1828 to 1850 only, organized by year within each county. This research tool contains 3,344 references.
