Western States Marriage Records Index : Over the past decade, the BYU-Idaho Family History Center has been extracting early marriage records from counties in the western part of the United States. Virtually all of the pre-1900 marriages are included in the index for Arizona, Idaho and Nevada. Many Idaho and Utah counties have been extracted into the 1930’s and some, much later. A significant number of marriages from Wyoming, eastern Washington, eastern Oregon, western Colorado and selected counties in California are also included.

Mission 2000 : Searchable Spanish Mission Records. Mission 2000 is a searchable database of Spanish mission records of the Pimería Alta (southern Arizona and northern Sonora, Mexico) containing baptisms, marriages, and burials from the late seventeenth century to the mid-nineteenth century. Names of persons associated with each event and personal information about each person are included. The ethnicity of names include O’odham, Yaqui, Apache, Seri, Opata, Yuma, Mexican, Spanish, Basque, Catalán, Gallego, Andalusian, Valencian, German, Swiss, Austrian, Bohemian, Italian, and others.

    Bisbee Deprotees List (Arizona to New Mexico, 1917). A labor dispute between copper mining companies and their workers turned into vigilante action on July 12, 1917 when more than a thousand men were herded into filthy boxcars in Bisbee, Arizona, and abandoned across the New Mexico border. This list begins with demographic data about deportees. The subsequent pages list names in no discernible order. Included in the information provided for each individual is nationality, whether they had taken out citizenship papers, purchased Liberty Bonds, were married, had children, were registered for the draft, owned property and had bank accounts. There are a total of 900 names on the list. It is presented in its original format and layout.
